The Grace Vision Primary Eye Care Model has been noticed by the Eastern Cape Department of Health as a well managed, and efficient programme, ideal for seriving the poorest rural communities of Africa.

The model has taken 4 years of experimenting and tweaking to arrive at what we have at present. Our thanks to Dr Glenn Strauss, Dr Ben Gaunt, Dr Eric Albrecht and Mr Woody Hopper, who have worked with our team to develop this model which is replicable anywhere in the world.

The Department of Health in the Eastern Cape has a backlog of several thousand patients requiring cataract surgery, and Grace Vision has been asked to perform 400 of these over the next 9 months, adding to the 500 we expect to do ourselves in the area we serve.

We are grateful to God for enabling us to reach this amazing point in our development, as we expand our reach into South and Southern Africa.
